Known for her deeply reflective and honest songwriting, Zéguer details the moment of clarity when a relationship fundamentally changes, describing the frustration of loving someone who was unable to reciprocate.
Working with producer Josué Alaniz, Zéguer chose an alternative melodic pop sound to deliver the emotional narrative. Zéguer stated, “It’s a pop track, inspired by the synthesizers, drum machines, and melancholic emotions of the eighties… It is an emotional but danceable song, ideal for retro pop, heartbreak, or synth vibes playlists.”
The release of “El Amor Que Te Di” comes as Ale Zéguer’s influence in the industry continues to grow. She is currently nominated for the Latin GRAMMYs in the “Best Singer-Songwriter Album” category for relatos, and for “Songwriter of the Year” for her compositions for numerous top Latin artists.
