Los Angeles, California (July 31, 2025)- Even if you don’t immediately recognize the name Adam Wright, a GRAMMY-nominated Nashville singer-songwriter, you’ve almost certainly heard his work. Hailed as a “wildly brilliant genius” by Robert Earl Keen and “one of the best of the best songwriters and storytellers there is” by Buddy Miller, Wright is a rare “songwriter’s songwriter” whose lyrical and melodic fingerprints can be found on countless beloved records across genres. A recent testament to his prolific talent, Wright penned “New York Is On Fire” on the new Parker McCollum album. His extensive songwriting catalog includes hits for some of country music’s biggest names and beyond:

Now, Wright is stepping out from behind the scenes and into the spotlight with an ambitious 4-part solo project titled Nature of Necessity. Due for full release on September 25th, the collection is described as a masterclass in character-driven songwriting, produced by the acclaimed Frank Liddell (known for his work with Miranda Lambert and Lee Ann Womack). Early reception is strong, with WMOT declaring it “a masterpiece.”
