Los Angeles, California (June 25, 2025)- A.R. Rahman, the Oscar and Grammy-winning composer and global music icon, will bring his immersive concert experience The Wonderment Tour to the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on July 26. The 16-city North American tour is one of the most anticipated cultural events of the summer, following a sold-out stadium performance in Mumbai that drew 50,000 fans. That premiere introduced audiences to Rahman’s latest creative vision—a live experience that merges cinematic storytelling, cutting-edge production, and deeply emotional music across languages and cultures.
Presented by Concerts West, AEG Presents, and Kash Patel Productions, The Wonderment Tour redefines live performance with a soundscape that blends orchestral compositions, electronic elements, and selections from Rahman’s vast catalog of Indian and international film scores. The concert is designed not only as a musical showcase, but as an exploration of wonder—of breath, of love, of music, and of human connection. Every element, from the visuals to the live arrangements, is crafted to be immersive and transformative.
Rahman will be joined by a globally diverse ensemble of vocalists and musicians. Featured artists include Shweta Mohan, a leading South Indian playback singer; Indian American artist Shuba Vedula (Shuba), known for her viral videos and American Idol appearances; Rakshita Suresh, celebrated for her dynamic film vocals; and Mayssa Karaa, a Grammy-nominated Lebanese American singer whose blend of Arabic and Western influences includes her chart-topping collaboration with Rahman on “Hayati.” Also joining are Zanai Bhosle, emerging artist and granddaughter of Asha Bhosle; A.R. Ameen, Rahman’s son and rising playback talent; Nakul Abhyankar, with credits in Frozen 2 and Cobra; Adithya RK, whose recent hits “Hey Nainika” and “Sooreede” have gained traction; and Nitesh Aher, featured in the upcoming film Bollywood Tere Ishq Mein.
Instrumentalists on tour include Ranjit Barot, one of India’s most respected drummers; Ashwin Srinivasan, a multi-instrumentalist known for his classical and global versatility; Aleif Hamdan, an Indonesian-Malaysian guitarist blending jazz and contemporary styles; Nilanjana Ghosh Dastidar, a bassist known for her work on Rahman’s global tours; and Evelyn Soto, a Colombian singer and percussionist whose performances highlight the Latin diaspora.
The concert’s multilingual format—featuring performances in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and English—reflects Rahman’s international reach and commitment to cross-cultural dialogue. The setlist will span his most celebrated works, from Slumdog Millionaire, Dil Se, and Lagaan to newer compositions and previously unreleased material. Each performance is designed to be an emotional arc, offering audiences not just music but a story told through rhythm, melody, and movement.
Tickets for The Wonderment Tour are available now at www.arrahman.com and through the Crypto.com Arena website. Many cities are nearing full capacity, and fans are encouraged to secure their seats early. The tour promises to be a landmark moment in Rahman’s career and a rare opportunity for North American audiences to experience the full depth and scale of his creative vision live.
With a career that spans over three decades, A.R. Rahman is recognized as one of the most influential composers of his generation. His Hollywood credits include 127 Hours, The Hundred-Foot Journey, Million Dollar Arm, and the global phenomenon Slumdog Millionaire, which earned him two Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe, and a BAFTA. His compositions have been performed by the world’s leading orchestras, including the London Philharmonic and Los Angeles Philharmonic.
The tour’s producers, Concerts West and AEG Presents, are behind some of the world’s most iconic festivals and tours, while Kash Patel Productions has been instrumental in bringing South Asian music and artists to mainstream venues across North America.
