Simpson Ahuevo is entering a new international phase while staying true to his northern roots. The Hermosillo-born rapper released the single “El Gabacho” featuring Go Golden Junk and Robot95, and he launched the track on an iconic Times Square screen. The single arrives on November 21, 2025, and previews his upcoming album Máster del Noro. He also released two other singles, “Semana Diabla” and “El Sol,” in the same month.
The Video and Visuals
The “El Gabacho” video reunites Simpson with director Hermann Neudert and producer Neuderts, five years after their hit “Arre.” They filmed the video in Hermosillo, Simpson’s hometown, to capture northern Mexican culture and the American dream. The visuals show the emotional cost of crossing the border and the search for opportunity. Photographer Cesar Calderón shot the Times Square images, and Pedro Torres handled the official project photos.

Máster del Noro blends desert rap with coastal reggaetón. Simpson mixes gritty boom-bap with breezy, beachy rhythms to create a varied sound. Tracks such as “Cenizas,” “Seis Ceros,” “Mi Sangre,” and “Noro Siete” explore family, nostalgia, celebration, and the pursuit of freedom. Simpson reframes “el noro” as a lifestyle built on resilience and authenticity. The album aims to be honest, emotional, and rooted in place.
Building Live Momentum
Simpson is also building momentum on stage. He joined Molotov on their 30th-anniversary U.S. tour, which expanded his reach with Latino audiences. He confirmed a slot at Pa’l Norte Festival 2026, where he will perform alongside international acts like Interpol. These appearances set the stage for a wider international push while keeping his voice unmistakably northern.
Simpson’s latest rollout balances ambition with a strong sense of place. A Times Square spotlight and festival stages broaden his audience, while Hermosillo-set visuals and regionally rooted songs keep his identity intact. Stream “El Gabacho” on November 21 and watch for Máster del Noro to see how Simpson turns local stories into music with global appeal.
