Live Nation is set to close out 2025 with a powerful statement on inclusivity and talent. On Wednesday, November 26, the renowned “Ones to Watch” series will arrive in Melbourne for its final event of the year. This special edition is designed to coincide with the upcoming International Day of People with Disabilities (IDPWD), celebrated globally on December 3.
While the series is known for identifying the next big things in music, this specific showcase carries a distinct mission: to amplify and celebrate Australian artists living with disability. By spotlighting talent that is often underrepresented, Live Nation aims to help dismantle long-standing industry barriers.
Curated by Eliza Hull
The evening is being curated and hosted by award-winning musician and disability advocate, Eliza Hull. A striking songwriter in her own right, Hull will also close the night with a special performance. Her involvement ensures the event remains authentic to its cause, leveraging her personal experience to champion a new wave of artists.
“This is exactly what the industry needs right now—a night to celebrate and amplify the incredible artists with disability in this country,” says Hull. “As a musician with a disability myself, I know firsthand that there are still barriers in the industry, but moments like this give me real hope for what’s ahead.”

A Genre-Defying Lineup
The night promises an eclectic mix of sounds, proving that talent knows no boundaries. The lineup features:
- Mathilde Anne: A Melbourne-based pop artist whose 2024 album NORMAL explored themes of neurodivergence and young adulthood.
- R.em.edy: A genre-shifting “chameleon” blending R&B, soul, and hip-hop, known for advocating for artists with ADHD, Autism, and POTS.
- Cooper Smith: An electrifying DJ who is carving out his own lane in the Australian club scene.
Creating Real Pathways
This event is part of a broader commitment by Live Nation to foster a more inclusive music landscape. Michelle Lucia, SVP of Product & Innovation at Live Nation Australia & New Zealand, emphasized that the goal is to create “real pathways” for emerging talent. By connecting these artists with industry professionals and new fans, the showcase ensures they have the chance to be seen and heard on the stages they deserve.
As Melbourne prepares for this night of discovery, the message is clear: the future of Australian music is diverse, inclusive, and undeniably talented.
