HERMOSILLO, SONORA — The official launch of Sonhoro Records marked a milestone in the Latin music scene, as artists, producers, and industry representatives gathered to celebrate the birth of a label that promises to make a lasting impact across Latin America.
The event, held in Hermosillo, captivated attendees with its energy, artistry, and sense of community—qualities that define the essence of this new record label. With an impressive production and lineup, the night became a showcase of both local pride and musical excellence.
The Sonhoro Records roster includes Larry y La Clase, Braulio Mata, La Casta, Xavier Flores, El Chats, Gohan Corral, Saúl Escoboza, and Los Alegres de la Sierra, each delivering powerful performances that reflected their passion for music. One of the evening’s highlights came when Carín León joined Los Alegres de la Sierra on stage for a surprise duet. The legendary group then revealed an upcoming collaboration with Carín, celebrating their 30th anniversary—an announcement that brought the audience to its feet in applause. The moment symbolized not only the union of generations but also the spirit of collaboration that Sonhoro Records embodies.
Among the notable guests were Tony Aguirre; Tito and Dani from Código FN; Ángel Galván; Kano Escalante; and Aarón Martínez “Pantera” of La Firma, as well as media outlets and music professionals. The celebration was led by the label’s founders, Arturo Ramos and Antonio de Jesús Rivera, alongside Carín León, who proudly supports the project as a tribute to the talent emerging from his hometown of Hermosillo, Sonora.
