2025 has been a landmark year for Spanish singer-songwriter Dani Fernández. Following the release of his third studio album, “La Jauría,” in 2024, the accolades have been pouring in, solidifying his status as a major force in Spanish music. The album was recently recognized as Best Album of the Year by the Spanish Music Academy, a testament to its critical and commercial success. With hit singles, a successful documentary, and a sold-out tour in Spain already under his belt, Dani’s latest triumph was his long-awaited first visit to Mexico.
A String of Unprecedented Successes
The album’s success has been nothing short of phenomenal. His single, “Me has invitado a bailar,” has become a true radio phenomenon, spending a record 50 weeks at number one in Spain and accumulating over 54 million streams on Spotify. The album itself has already earned its first Gold Record and boasts over 140 million streams, a clear indicator of its widespread appeal. He also recently collaborated with rising star Valeria Castro on the intimate ballad “Y si lo hacemos,” which has quickly climbed the charts.

A New Chapter in Mexico
But the climax of this incredible year came with his sold-out show in Mexico. On September 11, Dani Fernández performed at the Indie Rocks Forum in Mexico City to a captivated audience. This first visit was a huge success, with institutional support from organizations like PROMUSICAE and INAEM. For Dani, the experience was deeply personal, and he shared his feelings about the trip, stating, “This visit has been just the first step in a new phase in Mexico. Over the next few years, I will be much more present on the country’s art scene… The concert at the Indie Rocks Forum was very exciting; the audience reminded me that, even though so many years have passed, they are still there.”
This triumphant visit marks the beginning of a promising new chapter for Dani Fernández in Mexico. He closed his statement by professing his love for the country’s people, culture, and cuisine, hinting at a “long love affair” with the nation. As he prepares to announce a new tour, fans in both Spain and Mexico can rejoice, as his itinerary will once again include stops in Mexico, promising a continued connection with his passionate fan base.
