German music distributor Zebralution signed three indie record labels: the electronic label 8 Head, creative studio Casa Nueve, and the Brighton record label Folded Music, along with British indie artist Bawo.

Labels and Artists Explained
8 Head is the label of producer Gerry Read, who collaborated with DJ Koze and has won Pete Tong’s Essential Tune of the Year for his track “It’ll All Be Over.” The label is set to announce new artists it has signed shortly. As for the British Spanish Casa Nueve, they sign artists of many different mediums, including literature, music, and visual arts, and organizes community events centered on these arts. The label includes pop artist Uma and the jazz band SALPA. Alex McCall’s Folding Music, with offices in France and the UK, has signed artists such as Asta Hiroki, Bon-Psy, Catch92, Fthmlss, Tristan de Liege, and Woodini. Meanwhile, the distributor’s new solo artist, Bawo, combines rap with garage and soul sounds and has been praised for the wordplay on his album “Legitimate Cause.”
