Los Angeles, California (July 23, 2025)- Following the acclaimed release of his latest musical project, “Julio Eterno,” Ecuadorian artist Juan Fernando Velasco is set to embark on the “Julio Eterno Tour,” a 20-city U.S. tour kicking off this October. This highly anticipated tour, inspired by his recent EP, offers a unique and moving tribute to the legendary Julio Jaramillo, bringing the “Nightingale of the Americas” back to life through innovative technology that allows for virtual duets with Velasco.

The “Julio Eterno” EP, produced by Andrés Castro and mixed by Curt Schneider, is a timeless collection of reimagined Latin American classics. At its core is the profound bolero “Cinco Centavitos,” penned by Héctor Ulloa, which delves into the intricate emotional landscape of happiness and love. Through meticulously crafted arrangements and collaborations with world-class musicians such as Aaron Sterling, Velasco achieves a delicate balance between acoustic intimacy and contemporary flair.
The EP features five tracks: “Cinco Centavitos,” “Ódiame,” “Rondando tu Esquina,” “Nuestro Juramento,” and “No me Toquen ese Vals.” Each song is reinterpreted with a modern yet respectful approach, deeply rooted in Ecuadorian traditions, thanks to the contributions of local musicians like Navijio Cevallos.
