Following his return to the music scene in 2025, Norteño veteran, Héctor González “El Tenampa,” has announced his upcoming single. Titled “Con Tu Partida” (With Your Departure), and is described as an intimate exploration of heartbreak and the loss of hope.
The track marks a thematic shift from the high-energy spectacle of his Adrenalina Live Show, a production that famously fuses his music with haute école equestrianism. “Con Tu Partida” is expected to focus on the more traditional and emotionally raw core of the Norteño sound, emphasizing vulnerable lyricism over large-scale spectacle.
This release marks a crucial moment in the singer’s second stage. After pausing a successful music career—which included four albums recorded with the influential Familia Chávez for labels such as Discos Disa and Remex Music—González immersed himself in the equestrian world. His return to recording studios has been highly anticipated by fans of the 2000s grupera scene.
“Con Tu Partida” is expected to feature the genre’s quintessential instrumentation—accordion and bajo sexto—while incorporating the contemporary polish that has defined his 2025 comeback. The single will be available on all major streaming platforms on Monday, July 28.
