Los Tigres del Norte
Los Tigres del Norte delivered one of the biggest shows of their current world tour on Saturday, performing to a sold-out crowd of more than 55,000 fans at Estadio GNP Seguros.
The concert formed part of the band’s ongoing Los Tigres del Mundo: El Norte Es Más Allá De La Frontera tour, which continues to bring the legendary norteño group to major venues across Mexico, the United States and Latin America.
Opening with the signature energy that has defined their decades-long career, Los Tigres del Norte led fans through a setlist featuring many of the songs that helped cement their status as icons of regional Mexican music. Throughout the evening, the audience sang along to classics including “La Banda del Carro Rojo,” “Mi Buena Suerte,” “Jefe de Jefes,” “La Jaula de Oro” and “Ni Parientes Somos.”
The concert also featured two surprise guest appearances that elevated the night’s celebration. Singer-songwriter Vivir Quintana joined the group for performances of “Prisión de Amor” and hit “La Puerta Negra,” combining her powerful vocal style with the band’s signature norteño sound.
Later in the show, Majo Aguilar took the stage for a collaboration on “Golpes en el Corazón.” Aguilar also honored the tradition of Mexican music with performances of “Acá Entre Nos” and “Un Puño de Tierra,” earning an enthusiastic response from the packed stadium.
Spanning more than three hours, the performance highlighted the enduring popularity of Los Tigres del Norte, whose catalog has remained a cornerstone of Latin music for generations. The group’s ability to unite audiences through songs that explore identity, migration, family and everyday life is transformative and one of a kind.
Following the landmark performance, Los Tigres del Norte will continue the Los Tigres del Mundo: El Norte Es Más Allá De La Frontera tour with additional dates across Mexico, the United States and Latin America.
