KPop Demon Hunters is officially heading from the screen to the stage, with Netflix announcing plans for a worldwide concert tour inspired by the hit animated phenomenon.
The streaming platform revealed that the upcoming production will transform the film into what it describes as an immersive live experience, bringing elements of the movie’s world and music to audiences across multiple countries. The tour is being produced in partnership with AEG Presents, though official dates and venues have not yet been announced.
While details remain limited, fans can currently sign up for updates and ticket information ahead of the tour’s launch. Netflix has also not confirmed whether performers from the film’s musical cast will participate in live appearances during the production.
The uncertainty has fueled speculation about the format of the concerts. Some fans expect traditional live performances from vocalists associated with the project, including EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI, who contributed heavily to the soundtrack’s breakout success. Others believe the production could incorporate animated visuals, holograms, or avatar technology, following a growing trend of immersive virtual concert experiences within the music industry.
The announcement arrives after nearly a year of overwhelming success for the film and its soundtrack. The project’s signature song, “Golden,” became a global phenomenon, spending weeks atop major charts and establishing itself as one of the most commercially successful songs tied to an animated feature in recent memory.
The soundtrack itself also reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200, while the film’s music helped elevate its cast into mainstream music. Earlier this year, EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI were honored as Women of the Year at Billboard Women in Music following the cultural impact of the project.
Since its release, KPop Demon Hunters has become one of Netflix’s biggest crossover successes, blending K-pop aesthetics, fantasy storytelling and high-quality music production into a franchise that resonated globally.
