HYBE closed 2025 with its highest annual sales to date, signaling the growing global power of K-pop’s multi-label model. Consolidated revenue rose roughly 18% year over year to 2.6499 trillion won, fueled largely by an aggressive expansion of concerts and intellectual property (IP) across international markets. While operating profit declined due to restructuring and upfront investments, the broader picture reveals a company positioning itself for long-term global dominance.
Concerts and IP Drive Record Growth
Live performance was the standout growth engine. HYBE held 279 global concerts in 2025, generating 763.9 billion won in concert revenue — up about 69% year on year. The performance pushed HYBE into fourth place globally in Billboard’s 2025 Boxscore promoter rankings. Artists, including BTS members, SEVENTEEN, and ENHYPEN strengthened the company’s touring footprint.
HYBE also maintained a commanding presence in recorded music, capturing roughly 30% market share on the Circle Chart and accumulating 3.7 billion annual streams, including a 3% share of the Spotify Global 200. Meanwhile, global girl group KATSEYE emerged as a breakout success, with “Gabriela” charting for 28 consecutive weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 — a milestone not seen for a girl group since Destiny’s Child.
Investment Today, Expansion Tomorrow
Operating profit fell 73% year over year, reflecting debut costs for new acts like aoen (Japan), CORTIS (Korea), and SANTOS BRAVOS (Latin America), as well as restructuring expenses tied to HYBE America. In the fourth quarter of 2025, the company recognized impairment losses as part of a strategic shift toward a label-centered IP model — an accounting move aimed at transparency rather than cash loss.
HYBE’s superfan platform Weverse, returned to profitability after restructuring its revenue model, signaling improved operational efficiency and diversified income streams.
2026: The Next Chapter
The next growth phase begins March 20, 2026, when BTS releases its fifth full-length album, ARIRANG, followed by the largest world tour in HYBE’s history — spanning 34 cities, with additional dates in Japan and the Middle East. New girl groups, a North American boy group collaboration with producer Ryan Tedder, and expansion into India further reinforce HYBE’s global ambitions.
At the same time, HYBE introduced a new shareholder return policy, including a minimum dividend system tied to free cash flow, underscoring a commitment to financial stability.
In short, HYBE’s 2025 results reflect a company investing heavily today to build a more diversified, globally scalable IP powerhouse tomorrow.
