Los Angeles, California (May 16, 2025)– Forty years in music isn’t just a milestone — it’s a testament to perseverance, evolution, and heart. And no one embodies that better than Los Originales Dinámicos del Norte, who celebrated their four-decade journey with an intimate, heartfelt press conference that quickly turned into a bohemian-style showcase of music, stories, and future plans. From quinceañeras in Culiacán to international tours, the journey of this iconic norteño group has been anything but ordinary.
Founded by Jesús Núñez, affectionately remembered as Natividad de Jesús, the group started from humble beginnings in Sinaloa. They built their early fanbase the old-school way: gig by gig, party by party, until they found themselves recording tracks that would become regional anthems. Songs like La Rubia y La Morena, Tuve Una Novia, and Dos Gotas de Agua are still requested today — a sign that their music hasn’t just lasted, it’s lived.
But as with many musical dynasties, time brought both triumphs and turbulence. Family conflicts led the Núñez brothers to go their separate ways. While Jesús Núñez retains the original band name in Mexico, his son Fernando Núñez stepped up and secured the U.S. rights under a revitalized banner: Los Originales Dinámicos del Norte. A new image, a fresh logo — but the same unmistakable soul.
At the press conference, Fernando took the mic with the calm authority of someone born into the spotlight. “We’re honoring our father’s legacy,” he said, “but we’re also giving it a new voice for today’s world.” The room filled with emotion as Fernando, backed by his group, launched into a surprise acoustic session — bringing their classics to life with the same passion that made them hits decades ago.
The new album, Salud Borrachos, is a love letter to the roots of norteño, but also a bold statement about where it’s headed next. Packed with heartfelt lyrics, energetic accordion riffs, and tequila-soaked honesty, the album features collaborations with some of the genre’s biggest names: Abelardo Retamoza, Noel Torres, Los Incomparables del Norte, El Potro de Sinaloa, Los Perdidos de Sinaloa — and even Fernando’s own brother, founder of Los Núñez de Culiacán.
“This album is for everyone who’s ever put on our music at a family party, who’s raised a glass to a heartbreak, or danced to our songs without knowing who we were. Now they’ll know,” Fernando said with a grin.

Tour plans are already in motion. The group will be hitting California, Washington, Oregon, and other states, with performances that promise to blend nostalgia with new energy. And they’re not stopping there — their dream is to bring their sound to Central and South America. If the enthusiasm at the press event was any indication, fans everywhere are ready.
Fernando made sure to invite fans to follow their journey online: “Find us on social media at @ororiginalesdinamicosdelnorte. The name may have evolved, but the music? That’s still puro corazón.”
As they closed the event with a few more fan favorites and a round of applause that felt like a standing ovation in spirit, one thing became clear: Los Originales Dinámicos del Norte aren’t just riding on legacy — they’re building a future. One verse, one stage, one heartfelt song at a time.
