Las Vegas, NV -(November 11, 2025) — The Latin Recording Academy®, in collaboration with strategic partner Mastercard, continued Latin GRAMMYS® week’s excitement during the 2025 Best New Artist Showcase. This event serves as a crucial platform designed to amplify the exposure of the next generation of music creators during the highly anticipated Latin GRAMMY® Week.

The Academy’s leadership underscored the strategic importance of this annual event. Manuel Abud, CEO of The Latin Recording Academy, noted the consistent commitment to nurturing emerging artists: “Inaugurated three years ago, the Best New Artist Showcase stands as a testament to our resolve to open substantive doors for the creators shaping the future of Latin music,” Abud stated. He further emphasized the event’s growing significance, positioning it as an essential conduit for nominees to engage with Academy members, influential industry leaders, and special invited guests.

The private reception took place on Tuesday, November 11, at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, under the stewardship of 2019 Best New Artist nominee, Aitana. The program featured exclusive performances from the cohort of Best New Artist nominees for the 26th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards®: Alleh, Annasofia, Yerai Cortés, Juliane Gamboa, Camila Guevara, Isadora, Alex Luna, Paloma Morphy, Sued Nunes, and Ruzzi.

The caliber of the event was further validated by the participation of established industry figures who served as presenters. The list included multiple Latin GRAMMY and GRAMMY winner Edgar Barrera, Latin GRAMMY winner Lena Burke, and several past winners of the Best New Artist category, such as Joaquina (2023), Gaby Moreno (2013), and Monsieur Periné (2015). They were joined by previous nominees, including Natascha Falcão (2021), Zoe Gotusso (2021), and others, signaling strong institutional support for the emerging class.
While Mastercard maintains its role as a foundational collaborator, the expansion of the initiative was evident with Espolòn® Tequila joining this year’s celebration as the Official Sponsor. Since its inception during the 2022 Latin GRAMMY Week in Las Vegas, the program has extended its global footprint, organizing affiliated showcases in major music markets including Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Miami, San Juan, São Paulo, and Seville.
The production team, led by Ayleen Figueras with Ana Maria Daza serving as executive producer and Gisela Gonzalez as producer, ensured the event met high technical standards. The musical direction was managed by Roberto Trujillo, who assembled a nine-piece band composed entirely of Latin Recording Academy members. Trujillo, whose extensive experience includes serving as musical director for global broadcasts like the GRAMMYs and the Latin GRAMMY Person of the Year, brought a virtuosic level of professional gravitas to the performances.
The 26th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards are scheduled to air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Thursday, November 13, will commence at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. Central), following a dedicated one-hour pre-show. The continued strategic investment in the Best New Artist Showcase reaffirms The Latin Recording Academy’s commitment to the discovery and professional advancement of new talent within the global music ecosystem.
