After voting 14 students as winners of the 2025 Student Academy Awards, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced that the awards ceremony will take place in New York on October 6.
Opening Doors
The awards ceremony, which received over 3,000 submissions from various colleges and universities seeking to nominate their students for achievements in film, will announce the final top three gold, silver, and bronze-placing students. However, all 14 winners will be eligible to compete in the 98th Oscars® in the Animated Short Film, Live Action Short Film or Documentary Short Film category.
