Los Angeles, California (April 14, 2025)-(RYM)– If you’re not already familiar with TREASURE, now might be the perfect time to get to know them. Formed through the survival show YG TREASURE BOX and officially debuting in August 2020 under YG Entertainment (home to acts like BIGBANG, BLACKPINK, and WINNER), TREASURE began as a 12-member group with a fresh-faced blend of powerhouse vocals, razor-sharp dance, and genre-spanning versatility. While the group now promotes as a solid and ever-evolving 10-member team, they’ve only grown stronger, tighter, and more artistically fearless.
Composed of Choi Hyunsuk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Yoon Jaehyuk, Asahi, Doyoung, Haruto, Park Jeongwoo, and So Jung Hwan, TREASURE represents a beautifully diverse mix of talent from South Korea and Japan. Each member brings something unique to the group—from songwriting and producing to stunning visuals and boundary-pushing stage performance. Since their debut, they’ve amassed a passionate global fandom known as Teume (short for “Treasure Maker”), released multiple charting albums, and developed a reputation for being one of K-pop’s most emotionally resonant and creatively involved groups.
On April 13, 2025, TREASURE brought all of that heart, history, and heat to Los Angeles’ YouTube Theater, and what followed was not just a concert—it was an experience that transcended language and borders.
From the first explosive note of “JIKJIN,” the crowd was on its feet, roaring. The boys stormed the stage like seasoned pros, setting the tone for a night that would move seamlessly between fire and tenderness. Choi Hyunsuk, one of the group’s leaders, known for his strong choreography and creative direction, immediately established command. Jihoon, the co-leader, exuded grace and confidence, perfectly balancing power and charm.
“BONA BONA” and “BOY” followed, each met with screaming fans and booming fanchants. Jihoon’s stage presence was magnetic, while Yoshi, with his fierce rap lines and quiet off-stage humility, wowed the audience with his fiery delivery. Junkyu’s soft, melodic vocals floated over the crowd with warmth, showing off his gentle star quality, while Jaehyuk brought ease and charisma to every step.
“I LOVE YOU” arrived with a burst of energy—one of their signature tracks where the emotional lyrics and punchy beats collide perfectly. It was clear that every member had grown as a performer since their debut, but none more so than Haruto, the tall, deep-voiced rapper whose stage presence seemed to swallow the entire venue in a single look.
During the first ment of the night, the boys took a moment to catch their breath and speak directly to their Teumes. With wide smiles and heartfelt words, they thanked their LA fans for always making them feel at home—literally. One member lovingly called Los Angeles their “second home”, referencing their previous visits and the strong emotional bond they’ve formed with their U.S. fanbase.
The tone then shifted to something more tender with “THANK YOU,” a song that felt like a letter to their fans. Vocally led by Jeongwoo, known for his rich, husky tone, and Junkyu, the moment gave fans a chance to breathe and sway their lightsticks like stars. Doyoung, often recognized for his mischievous energy, revealed a more emotional side, delivering his lines with raw, open sincerity.
Then came the subunit stages, each offering a unique glimpse into the group’s versatility. First up was “MOVE,” performed by Junkyu, Yoshi, and Jaehyuk—a smooth, mid-tempo groove that leaned into R&B rhythms. Junkyu’s model-like aura and gentle vocals matched perfectly with Jaehyuk’s steady presence. Yoshi, whose tattooed arm peeked out from his sleeve, looked every bit the cool and composed rapper fans adore.
The energy turned volcanic with “G.O.A.T / VolKno,” performed by Hyunsuk, Yoshi, and Haruto. It was hard-hitting and raw, complete with fire visuals and strobe-heavy lighting. Haruto, who joined YG at just 14, proved why he’s known as a natural performer—his flow was unstoppable. Hyunsuk looked in his element, eyes fierce, while Yoshi brought a wild energy that left the crowd chanting his name long after the lights dimmed.
TREASURE then regrouped for “MMM,” a fan-favorite made even more dynamic by the live band. With electric guitars and deep drums rumbling beneath them, the song felt reborn. Doyoung stood out with his captivating stage movements and controlled vocals.
Following that, the band took over for a solo stage, surprising the crowd with a jam session worthy of its own concert. Each musician delivered solos—from tight drum rolls to killer guitar riffs—earning screams and applause. It was a reminder that this show wasn’t just about idols; it was about live artistry.
Then came Asahi’s solo, “YELLOW.” True to his reputation as the group’s introverted artist and composer, Asahi stood under a single spotlight and delivered a soft, emotionally raw performance. He’s often seen sketching or producing music in the background, but here, all eyes were on him—and deservedly so.
The mood brightened again with “SARURU,” the delightfully cheeky duet between Jihoon and Doyoung. The playful choreography and exaggerated expressions were pure fun. Jihoon threw hearts at the crowd while Doyoung played up his puppy-like charm—an adorable breather after a string of intense performances.
Another ment followed, where the members shared personal reflections. Jaehyuk talked about how moved he was by the crowd’s energy, and Jung Hwan, the group’s youngest, reflected on how much he’s grown thanks to his older members. Despite being the maknae, Jung Hwan’s athletic dancing and mature aura had him holding his own all night—especially during sharp choreography sections like in “KING KONG.”
The main set wrapped with a string of bangers: “KING KONG,” “I WANT YOUR LOVE,” and “B.O.M.B.” Each was a high-octane moment, with massive visuals, synchronized jumps, and fans shouting lyrics like they’d been waiting their whole lives to scream them. The boys left everything on that stage—sweat, energy, soul.
As they launched into “HELLO,” the crowd surged one last time, lightsticks dancing like fireflies. “DARARI,” the song that exploded across TikTok, had everyone singing along, and the night ended with “RUN,” a cathartic, all-out celebration of movement, connection, and release.
But TREASURE wasn’t done. They returned for a heartfelt encore, performing a medley of emotional fan favorites: “GOING CRAZY,” “B.L.T (BLING LIKE THIS), “ORANGE,” and “Yesterday.” By this point, the audience was a wave of emotions—singing, crying, waving banners, holding phones high. “ORANGE” was a standout—warm, nostalgic, the kind of song that lingers long after the lights come up.
In their final ment, Hyunsuk’s voice cracked as he said, “Whenever we feel tired, whenever the road feels too long… it’s your love that brings us back. Teumes, you give us the strength to carry on.” The group held hands, bowed deeply, and stood for a long moment, soaking in the love.
As fans slowly filed out of the YouTube Theater, lightsticks still glowing dimly, one thing was clear—this wasn’t just another stop on a world tour. It was a homecoming. TREASURE didn’t just perform in LA. They belonged there. And we were lucky enough to witness it.
